The debut game of the senior women's national team took place last Friday against the French national team. Despite the good start in the match, the national team could not overcome France, having lost by 20-30.

On Sunday, December 5, Angola returned to the field, but the determination of the Angolans was not enough to win the selection of Montenegro.

The 'Pearls of Africa' lost 20-30 their second group stage game at the World Cup, thus staying out of the World Cup.

According to Jornal de Angola, the national team let its nerves show, allowing the Montenegro counterpart to take the lead in the match. Despite being disadvantaged, the Angolans managed to balance the score in the first part of the game, having left for half-time with just two points of difference.

In the second half, the national team still had a chance of winning, however the lack of concentration got the better of Montenegro and allowed Montenegro to increase the difference.

Angola, which has two defeats in the competition, enters the field again this Tuesday, for a last match against Slovenia.
