The note, which cites the organic statute, which was published in the Diário da República on December 9, explains that the Casa Militar refers to an auxiliary body of the President whose mission is to "provide assistance, advice and direct and immediate technical support to the President of the Republic in the performance of his functions, especially in matters of national security and in guaranteeing presidential security and defense".
As a result of the readjustment, the Minister of State and Head of the House of Security of the President of the Republic now becomes Minister of State and Head of the Military House of the President of the Republic, "who is responsible for directing, supervising, supervising, directing the functional and operational, the preparation and development of the Military House of the President of the Republic".
The note also states that "among other attributions, it is incumbent upon the Minister of State and Head of the Military House of the President of the Republic to assist the President of the Republic in matters of national security".
The governing body of the Casa Militar, in addition to the Minister of State and Head of the Military House of the President of the Republic, also has a deputy head.
The Military House is also composed of "Collective Advisory Bodies, namely the Superior Technical Council, Strategic-Operational Council and the Personnel and Managerial Council, as well as Assistance and Instrumental Support Services, comprising the Cabinet of the Minister of State and Head of the House Military Officer of the President of the Republic, the Consultants' Office and the Legal Affairs, Contracting and Exchange Office".
According to the communiqué, the executive bodies of the Casa Militar are composed of four secretariats: the Executive and Coordination of Presidential Security Secretariat, the Secretariat for National Defense Affairs, Motherland Veterans and Armed Forces, the Secretariat for Affairs of the Interior and National Police and the Secretariat for Intelligence and State Security Affairs.
The body also has "a Multilateral Assurance Service composed of the General Secretariat, Personnel and Managers Department, Logistics and Infrastructures Department, Telecommunications and Information Technology Department, Health Department, Strategic Direction Center of the Commander-in- Head and an Electronic Management Center".
The Presidential Security Unit and the Presidential Defense Unit are also part of the Casa Militar.
"Under the tutelage of the Casa Militar, there are four Assistance Agencies to the President of the Republic, namely the Office of Strategic Studies and Analysis, the Presidential Flight Office, the Special Works Office and the Multiperfil Clinic", adds the note, which adds that "the Technical Support Services of the Military House of the President of the Republic comprise the Special Training Center, the Integrated Services Regiment and the Medical Center".
