Bornito de Sousa at FILDA: “We can leave with a feeling that a lot of work is being done”

Bornito de Sousa, Vice President of the Republic, visited this Friday the 36th edition of FILDA, having shown himself satisfied and stating that he leaves "with a very positive impression".

Speaking at the end of the visit, the Vice President of the Republic informed that the objective was to see what is being produced in the country: "Our interest was to see what is being produced here. We can leave with a feeling that a lot of work is being done. to be done in several domains, and we left with a very positive impression".

Cited by Angop, the official took the opportunity to recall that one of the "fundamentals is the diversification of the economy", which is still quite dependent on oil exports.

Accompanied by Victor Fernandes, minister of Industry and Commerce, and Mário Caetano João, minister of Economy, the vice-president visited, for about two hours, the stands of the various companies that are present at the fair.

According to Angop, during the visit, the minister interacted with 25 exhibitors from companies linked to the oil, civil construction and real estate sectors, among others.
