The minister also referred that diplomatic relations between the two states are stable, as a result of the will of the two peoples. He also highlighted the "excellent relations between the Ministries of Interior of Angola and Public Security of China", having highlighted the meeting they held in Turkey, recently, during the meeting of the Interpol General Assembly, with the Chinese delegation.

Eugénio Laborinho warned, however, that the challenges of the modern world, in which countries are in a global village, require a permanent assessment of processes linked to public security, with emphasis on training staff, equipping commands and police units.

The minister, quoted on the MININT website, assured that his staff has done everything to guarantee peace, order and tranquility to Chinese businessmen operating in Angola, before, during and after their activities.

Finally, the official thanked the Chinese government for its commitment and support, highlighting its important contribution to the fight against covid-19.

On his turn, the Chinese ambassador to Angola thanked the minister for being available to receive him, in order to assess situations involving the two states.

The Asian diplomat congratulated the MININT forces that, despite the economic and financial crisis, "have had an exemplary performance in overseeing the biosecurity measures imposed by covid-19".

He also acknowledged the dedication of the Ministry of Interior's staff in ensuring security so that Chinese businessmen can carry out their tasks without disturbance.

The meeting was attended, in addition to the Minister of the Interior, by the General Commander of the National Police, General Directors of the SIC and SME, National Directors of DEIA, GIC, Minister's Office, GCII and technicians.
