For the restoration of the bridge, according to Angop, the Government disbursed 1,334,199,005.48 kwanzas. The contract for inspection of the work was fixed at 16 million, 872 thousand and 500 kwanzas.
The contract was part of the emergency works that are under the responsibility of the National Directorate of Engineering Works of the Ministry of Public Works and Spatial Planning.
Located over the Cambamba River, in Talatona, the bridge connects the Talatona to the Dangereux and Patriota districts, simplifying circulation to Avenida Fidel Castro.
Also this Wednesday, in addition to the bridge, the Talatona/Patriota road will also be opened, Angop writes.
