According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, to which VerAngola had access, Biden will arrive in Luanda on December 2, for a three-day state visit, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
"The visit of the North American president will recognize Angola's role as a regional leader and will reaffirm the true transformation of the relationship between the United States of America and the Republic of Angola", says the note.
The two countries work together to "overcome a set of pressing and critical challenges, such as improving infrastructure in Africa and increasing economic opportunities and sustainable development on the continent".
"The expansion of technologies and scientific cooperation, the reinforcement of peace and security and the strengthening of food security are also other priorities defined by the two countries in their strategic relationship", concludes the note.
