With the theme "Portugal's response to New Market Trends" and another day of event, the festival aims to bring together wine professionals, including importers, distributors, restaurant and hotel professionals to disseminate information about Portuguese wines and the different characteristics associated with each region.
This year, in addition to the Great Tasting, where professionals and consumers can interact with producers and promote business, a "show cooking" will be held with recipes that enhance national cuisine.
A harmonized dinner with Angolan chef Helt Araújo and Portuguese Master of Wine candidate Tiago Macena, who will also give a master class for professionals, is another of the highlights of the agenda.
ViniPortugal is an interprofessional organization that manages the Wines of Portugal brand, present on four continents and 21 strategic markets, including Angola.
With an annual investment of more than eight million euros, it carries out more than 100 actions to promote Portuguese wines every year, involving more than 400 national economic agents.
