According to Angop, in the competition - held in Tanzania within the framework of the seminar on the "Path of Modernization, Corresponding to the Country's Own Realities: Exploration and Exchange between the Communist Party of China and the Six Political Parties of Southern Africa", with the organization of the Chinese Communist Party –, alongside the aforementioned deputy, other members of the Angolan caravan also stood out: this is the case of Erika Aires, Dolina Tchinhama and Eduarda Zacarias who won the third tier.
João Diogo Gaspar, in his scientific work, argued that "China and Africa must join hands to continue building a large number of roads, bridges, railway lines, power plants, ports and human training, helping to break the development impasse of the cradle continent".
According to Angop, it also highlighted that "despite the uncertainties of the global economic future, Sino-Africa cooperation, in general, and Sino-Angola in particular, will continue to be among us the most dynamic strategic pivot of international cooperation, more consistent and stronger."
The awards gala took place on Monday, in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). Two hundred competitors from more than 30 African countries were involved in the competition, which aimed to challenge them to think about the relationship between China and African countries, as well as the paths to be taken to improve these relations, writes Angop.
