The group's executive director, José Couto Alves, explains in a statement that the objective is to leave “a better world for future generations” and “promote the quality of life” of people using clean energy solutions.
The project will include 46 solar networks, with a capacity of 265 megawatts, which will lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions by 7.7 million tons.
The project was carried out with the help of Standard Chartered in the assembly and with financial support from Allianz Trade, in the order of 1.2 billion euros.
The completion of this investment will benefit more than one million people in five national provinces, with MCA starting construction of the first two photovoltaic parks last year.
