Kibabo number 40 opened in Samba. In 10 years, the group generated 2000 jobs

Kibabo number 40 opened its doors this Tuesday. Located in Samba, next to ENAPP - Condomínio Rosa Linda, the supermarket is the result of an investment of five million dollars, and with its inauguration the business group reached 2000 jobs in a period of a decade.

Employing 300 young people – who work as clerks, stevedores, cashiers, among other functions – the establishment occupies an area of ​​3000 square meters and has 35 kiosks.

The supermarket, according to Pedro Miguel, chairman of the company's board of directors, is the result of an investment of five million dollars.

Cited by Angop, the official who was speaking on the sidelines of the opening ceremony also made it known that the 40th store comprises an area of ​​1000 square meters reserved for the sale of drinks, pastries, bakery, fishmongers, meats, among others.

He also took the opportunity to mention that the company plans to expand the network outside the capital. Thus, quoted by Angop, he referred that as of next year, the company will leave the limits of the capital towards the interior of the country.

In turn, Virgínia Seixas, administrator of the urban district of Futungo, cited by Angop, left an inventive step to national and foreign businessmen to invest in the region in order to help stimulate employment to improve the living conditions of citizens, especially youth.

Edina Kapalo, National Director of Internal Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, praised the encouragement of employability of the business group, mainly for young people.
