Mundial2022: national team says goodbye to qualifying with draw

The national football team, led by Portuguese Pedro Gonçalves, said goodbye this Tuesday to the qualifying phase for the Qatar2022 World Cup, with a draw (1-1) against Libya, in Bengazhi.

In the qualifying phase, Angola achieved a victory, against Gabon by 3-1, in Luanda, an opponent with whom they later lost by 2-0. They also lost to Libya by 1-0, in Luanda, and this Tuesday drew 1-1, with the same opponent, in the latter's stronghold.

The Angolans were also defeated by Egypt by 1-0, in their stronghold, and drew 2-2 with the same opponent, in Luanda.

The selection says goodbye to the qualifying phase with five points, in the last position of group F, which is led by the selection of Egypt, which qualified for the next phase with 14 points, the result of the victory over Gabon by 2-1.

The Gabonese were in second position, with seven points, the same as Libya, in third position.
