Covid-19: Angola with 28 new cases and no deaths in the last 24 hours

The country registered 28 new cases, no deaths and six recoveries, in the last 24 hours, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Health Directorate released this Tuesday.

The new cases occurred in the provinces of Luanda (11), Cabinda (9), Cunene (3), Huambo (2), Zaire (2) and Lunda Sul (1), with ages between 10 and 59 years old, 20 males and eight females.

The bulletin also reports that, in the same period, no deaths were registered.

There were also six recoveries, four of which in Luanda and two in Cuando Cubango.

In the same period, the laboratories processed 2029 samples by RT-PCR, with a daily positivity rate of 1.4 percent.

With the most recent data, the country has a total of 65,061 cases, of which 202 are active, 1730 deaths and 63,129 recovered.

29 people are still interned, 55 are in institutional quarantine and 81 are under epidemiological surveillance.
