Authorization for this purpose was given by the National Assembly when proceeding with the final global approval of the Bill that authorizes the National Bank of Angola to issue and put into circulation commemorative metallic coin with a face value of 200 kwanzas, in allusion to the 20th anniversary of Peace and National Reconciliation.
The commemorative coin is silver, and on the front is represented a fraternal embrace and the feeling of national unity among Angolans, with the inscription at the top "Peace and National Reconciliation", refers a government statement to which VerAngola had access.
On the reverse, the face value stands out, in the center, the inscription "Kwanzas", the basketwork, as a symbol of national culture, and at the base, the year of issue (2022).
The approval of the Law Proposal took place this Wednesday morning, during the 5th Legislative Session of the IV Legislature of the National Assembly.
Before the final global vote, the deputy of the fifth Committee, João Linea, said that the document consists of three chapters and eight articles and was analyzed in detail by the Committees on Economy and Finance and on Constitutional and Legal Affairs
Parliament approves circulation of 200 kwanza coin
In reference to the 20th anniversary of Peace and National Reconciliation, the National Bank of Angola (BNA) will issue and put into circulation 200 kwanza metal coins.
