After having invested 50 million dollars in May 2019 to accelerate its expansion, the company started in Europe, then went to Maghreb, Morocco and Algeria and here comes the day of entry into Angola.
Heetch Angola will enter the national market in partnership with Eurostral, an Angolan company that operates in the transport sector, replacing the Eurotaxi service.
“The Maghreb and Sub-Saharan Africa represent great opportunities for Heetch. In cities with rapid growth and reduced public transport infrastructure, we have the opportunity to help improve the mobility of citizens ”, says Julien Dubout, responsible for the expansion at Heetch, in a statement sent to VerAngola. “Our entry into Angola is justified by the fact that it is a country whose middle class is important but, despite this, has a deficit in the supply of transport”, adds the official.
Heetch offers a transport application that claims to guarantee safety, affordable prices, density of supply, reduced waiting times and quality of service.
Drivers who are part of Heetch Angola will receive training, both in terms of managing their day-to-day application, as well as in terms of interpersonal relationships and customer service. The requirements for being a driver include having all the documents required for driving and the car up to date and valid, as well as having a vehicle in good general condition with an age not exceeding eight years.
The company expects to be responsible for creating several jobs in Angola in the short and medium term.
The application is available for iOS and Android in the province of Luanda, and the company has already developed an expansion plan for the rest of the country.
