Petro de Luanda and August 1 meet for the first time behind closed doors

The 11 de Novembro Stadium hosts, this Tuesday, from 6pm, the first game of Petro de Luanda against the 1st of August at the closed door. Due to covid-19, the match will not have the usual crowd in the stands and, to the dissatisfaction of the fans, will not be broadcast on television either.

The organization did not reveal why the classic was not broadcast on TV. However, according to Novo Jornal, the lack of testing of professionals from the Public Television of Angola (TPA) who would be in the field may be at the origin of the lack of transmission.

Because of the covid-19, the fans of these teams have not yet been able to see them shine on the field this season. Now, the fact that the game cannot be followed by the fans, even if it is on television, has left them disappointed.

"It's a shame that the game is without an audience and without transmission, but we're going to cheer for our teams," say the fans, quoted by the same newspaper.

However, it's not all bad news: Radio Cinco will broadcast all the emotions of the match.

The country's two most media-packed teams will be on the same pitch this Tuesday, starting at 6pm, for a match regarding the third and final round of the "Trumunu Out of Season" tournament - which aims to keep the national teams active before moving on to other competitions.
