The fifth round of the national football championship began on Saturday, with 1.º de Agosto drawing 1-1 at Académica do Lobito, which temporarily placed them in second place (a position they would maintain at the end of the round). The visitors were the first to score, through César Cangue, while the hosts equalised through Vali.
At the Coqueiros stadium in Luanda, São Salvador do Zaire surprised Kabuscorp do Palanca with a 2-1 victory, with goals from Júlio in the 82nd minute and Coche a few minutes later, while the defeated team scored through Cristian in the 75th minute.
On the same afternoon, also in Luanda, Interclube crushed Carmona FC by winning 7-0, with goals from Maranata in the sixth minute, Jepson in the 32nd minute, Betinho in the 52nd and 63rd minutes, Buba in the 71st and 89th minutes, and Anderson in the 86th minute.
Recreativo do Libolo beat Desportivo da Huila 2-1, with two goals from Ramiro, while Elias pulled one back for the defeated team, in the province of Cuanza Sul.
Desportivo da Lunda Sul and Sagrada Esperança drew 0-0.
On Sunday, Santa Rita de Cássia beat Isaac de Benguela by 2-0, while Wiliete de Benguela lost at home by 1-3 against Bravos do Maquis.
The match between Petro de Luanda and Luanda City has been postponed.
