This Monday, the national team begins preparation work for the double confrontation of the third and fourth qualifying rounds for the group stage of the African Cup of Nations (CAN), in 2025, on October 11th, in Luanda, and 15, in Nigerien territory.
Of the players called up, Gilberto arrived at the team's training camp on Sunday, after Mabululu and Gelson Dala, while Bastos Quissanga, Estrela, Zito Luvumbo, Ricardo Baptista, Randy N'teka, Rui Modesto and Fredy Ribeiro are expected in the capital this Monday.
Angola leads Group F of the CAN2025 qualifiers, with six points, followed by Sudan, which has three, while Ghana and Niger have one point each.
The biggest African football tournament will be played from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, in Morocco.
