According to INAPEM's PCA, who spoke "during a meeting with several public and private actors from the local emerging ecosystem", a public-private initiative is underway that aims to "implement the first business incubator in Bié, which will stimulate the genius creativity of young entrepreneurs in the province and accelerate the emergence of those existing projects that require injection both in terms of technical-scientific knowledge and in terms of financial component", says a statement from INAPEM, to which VerAngola had access.
For the person responsible, the note adds, the entry into operation of the aforementioned incubator, "will connect and awaken the interest of public and private financial institutions in emerging projects with high potential to scale the market, but with difficulties in migrating from the embryonic phase in which they meet".
The governor of Bié, Celeste Elavoco, said that the provincial government will support this project.
According to another statement from INAPEM, to which VerAngola had access, the governor, speaking on the sidelines of a hearing she held this Thursday with João Nkosi, said that "the provincial government of Bié will support the project to implement the first Incubator of companies in this province".
On the occasion, the provincial governor was informed about the "project in the pipeline leading to the assembly of what will be the first business incubator in Bié, as part of the expansion and promotion of the national network of incubators that has been implemented throughout the country by INAPEM" .
Thus, Celeste Elavoco assured INAPEM's PCA that the provincial government "will work so that, in the short term, actions are required that can identify potential areas capable of hosting the implementation of the aforementioned incubator".
"The lack of decent facilities for carrying out the work of INAPEM's local representation was another topic discussed during the hearing. Regarding this last matter, the governor promised to find solutions in the same circumstances in which the future facilities of the business incubator in the province of Bié will be identified", reads the note.
It should be noted that João Nkosi is working in that province until this Friday, as part of the "expansion and promotion plan for the national business incubator network".
