Milos Perisic, cited by Angop, also clarified that the scholarships will be awarded for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and will last up to four years.

The statements were made during a meeting with students from different levels of education, as part of a visit to the province of Moxico. Thus, according to Angop, at the time, the diplomat took the opportunity to encourage young people from Moxico to apply.

Already cited in a note from the Provincial Government of Moxico, to which VerAngola had access, Milos Perisic said that each year the government of his country "offers more than 300 scholarships to young foreigners from countries in Africa, Asia and the American continent", having added that "so far there are no students from the province of Moxico in Serbia, but he promised to reverse the situation, recognizing that Angola's educational system complies with internationally required parameters".

According to the statement, the meeting took place this Tuesday. "As part of staff training, the Serbian ambassador to Angola, Milos Perisic, held a meeting this Tuesday, October 17th, with university students and final year students from secondary schools no. 338 camarada Tchifutchi and 11 de Novembro", indicates the note, which adds that the aforementioned meeting aimed to "explore the possibility of cooperating in the training of staff", as well as ensuring "scholarships for different courses such as medicine, agronomy, electromechanics and others".

The act was attended by the vice-governor for the Political, Social and Economic Sector, Victor da Silva, who on the occasion highlighted that that European country, "with more than thirty universities, has the capacity to provide training opportunities to young Angolans", urging youth to "invest in technical courses that promote self-employment and development in the province of Moxico".

"With more than 50 Angolan students graduating in various areas in Serbia, the country offers scholarships in all areas for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, with intensive English language courses lasting seven months", informs also the provincial government.

It is recalled that the ambassador began a three-day working visit to Moxico on Monday.
