The pair, according to the statement, said that "the final victory of this championship is a synonym of great honor and pride" for having "been representing Angola in this important competition in amateur golf".
"Firstly, we would like to thank Fabrimetal in the person of Dr. Luís Diogo, for the support he gave us so that nothing was lacking in representing Angola in this competition", advance the players.
Cited in the note, João Ribeiro and Paulo Peixoto also say that they are "always available to represent Fabrimetal in all future internal and international competitions that will be held and that Fabrimetal's example of supporting our sport can be extended to other Angolan companies, which in the future can support our players in achieving you are conquering because Angola has excellent golf players".
Regarding the secret of their triumph, the Angolans revealed that the strategy was to play without pressure and enjoy the experience, since for the players the first victory was to be present at the event.

According to the note, the Corporate Golf Challenge emerged in 1993, in the United Kingdom, in association with the newspaper The Times, aiming to "provide companies with a tool that helps them to enhance and develop their internal and external relationships, through a sporting competition with great media impact, in a sport, golf, which is an excellent vehicle for business communication". In 1996, the championship was internationalized and "more than 30 countries participated in this edition, representing all continents".
