The factory began to be built in April this year, and should start operating as early as next month, informed Hamadh Samir, the company's general director.
Speaking to Angop, the official also said that the factory will create 68 direct jobs.
Installed in an area of three hectares, the factory will be dedicated to the production of various packaging, plastic sleeves, cups, plates, among others.
These products will be destined for the markets of Luanda, Benguela, Namibe and Huíla, writes Angop.
Regarding the raw material, the official revealed that it will come from Eritrea.
Cited by Angop, Hamadh Samir indicated that the factory, a private initiative, aims to help diversify the economy, as well as expand and enhance the industrial sector in the country.
