According to data from the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas on crude oil and gas exports in the third quarter of 2022, the prices of Angolan crudes and Brent, in the reference period, had a downward trend.

The document, which the Lusa agency had access to, indicates that the quarterly average price of Angolan crude was 101.6 dollars a barrel of oil, while the average for Brent was 100.8 dollars.

"The volume exported represents a decrease of 3.35 percent compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 1.77 percent compared to the same quarter of 2021", says the balance sheet.

The presentation underlines that several factors had a negative influence on prices, including concerns related to the new confinement measures in China, the return of Libyan production to the market, and, in a positive way, the European Union's decision to reduce imports of Russian oil by 90 percent by the end of the year.

"As for the average price of Angolan vines, there was a decrease of 10.73 percent compared to the second quarter of 2022 and an increase of 38.46 percent compared to the same period in 2021", the document adds.

The main commercialized vines were Mustard (11.20 percent), Dália (11.14 percent), Clov (10.74 percent), Nemba (9.48 percent) and Pazflor (7.58 percent).

China continues to lead the list of destination countries for Angolan oil exports, with 45.37 percent, followed by India, with 9.66 percent, France, with 9.45 percent, Canada, with 6, 84 percent, and Spain, with 6.73 percent.

Regarding exports of gas and condensates, in the period under analysis, more than one million metric tons were exported, with a cash inflow of 2.1 billion dollars, representing an increase of 12.14 percent compared to the second quarter of the year in course and a decrease of 12.82 percent in the volume exported in the same period of 2021.

The document indicates that 825.21 thousand metric tons of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) were exported, at an average price of 2.4 million dollars, 38.06 thousand metric tons of butane, at an average price of 507 thousand dollars, 130,42 thousand metric tons of propane, at an average price of 496 thousand dollars, and 66.66 thousand metric tons of condensate, at an average price of 560 thousand dollars.
