Trial of activist 'Ta Nice Neutro' starts with strong police cordon next to court

The trial of activist Gilson Moreira da Silva 'Ta Nice Neutro' started this Thursday at the District Court of Luanda, downtown, with strong police at the entrance to the court and barriers that prevent the movement of vehicles.

The trial, in which the accused is accused of crimes of public instigation, outrage against the State, rebellion and others, takes place from 10:30 am in the 1st section of the Luanda District Court.

The activist was detained after being caught in fragrant allegedly doing a live on social media, from the São Paulo Prison Hospital, in which he showed the conditions in which activist Luther Campos, who had been detained two days earlier, was detained.

At the entrance to the courthouse, on Rua Rainha Ginga, the presence of police officers did not go unnoticed, who put up barriers to traffic, leaving both lanes blocked.

Some activists intended to protest in front of the court in "solidarity" with their 'brother' Ta Nice Neutro to "demand immediate release" of the also considered "political prisoner".

Gilson Moreira da Silva, arrested on 14 February this year, is hospitalized at Hospital Prisão São Paulo, in Luanda.

According to the defense, his health condition inspires care and this was one of the previous questions presented by lawyer Francisco Muteka at the beginning of the session.
