This was followed by non-compliance with the rules on special registration (six), non-compliance with the rules on granting credit to the real economy sector (three), non-compliance with the deadline for reporting the balance sheet (one) and non-compliance with prudential relationships and ratios (a).

In the period in question, sanctions procedures in foreign exchange and financial conduct were also concluded.

With regard to sanctioning procedures against non-banking financial institutions, prudential matters also recorded the highest number of cases, with seven out of 10, on which pecuniary sanctions in the global amount of 1,040 million kwanzas fell.

The central bank informed that, in parallel, the suspension of the activity of execution of foreign exchange operations, for a period of 45 days, the revision of the manual of internal control policies and procedures and the publication of the measures applied were also applied as ancillary measures.
