Circulation to Kwanza Norte and Malanje will resume next Monday

As of next Monday, November 1st, the Luanda Railroad (CFL) will resume the circulation of trains to the provinces of Cuanza Norte and Malanje. The passenger transport service had been suspended for over a year due to measures imposed because of covid-19.

The return of the service foresees the realization of trips on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.

According to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), on Mondays the train will depart from the Muceques station, in Luanda, bound for Luinha, in Cuanza Norte.

On Fridays, the train will leave Luanda towards N'dalantando and Malanje stations.

As for Saturdays, there will be two distinct journeys: a train that will depart from Malanje station to Muceques station and another that will depart from Muceques station to Dondo station.

Ticket prices vary depending on the season, with a cost of 4000 kwanzas for Malanje, 2500 kwanzas for Dondo, 2270 kwanzas for N'dalantando and 2500 kwanzas for Luinha.
