Foreign Affairs course taken by the University of Luanda

This Thursday, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation signed two agreements within the scope of the graduation course in International Relations at the University of Luanda.

The memos, according to Angop, intend to transfer academic staff, that is, professors, students and curricular subjects, from the dissolved Higher Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.

The agreements also provide for the delivery of the infrastructure of the Diplomatic Academy of Moura to the University of Luanda.

Maria do Rosário Bragança, Minister of Higher Education, said that her tutelage is available to work with other ministries, especially those that have aspects linked to training.

"It is a good example of how the ministries can cooperate in improving education, as well as in scientific research so that the country has an increasingly better representation at a global level", she said, cited by Angop.

In turn, Teté António, Minister of Foreign Affairs, indicated that "the Diplomatic Academy will focus on specializing Mirex cadres and those who will embrace the diplomatic sector."

José Guerreiro Alves Primo, director of the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy, indicated that this is an opportunity for students on the course at the Institute of International Relations to finish it.

"The Diplomatic Academy will be dedicated to training, training and specialization courses for Angolan diplomats," he added.
