Angola attends African Youth Summit

Angola will participate in the African Youth Summit, which will take place from 20 to 22 October, in Accra, Ghana. The Angolan delegation, which is headed by the secretary of State for Youth, Fernando Francisco João, arrived this Tuesday in the capital of Ghana.

In addition to the secretary, the national delegation is made up of Alcinha Cunha and Zeferino Venâncio, from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and members of the Angolan embassy in Ghana, writes Jornal de Angola.

The Angolan delegation arrived this Tuesday in Accra. On Monday, the Secretary of State for Youth made a stopover in Addis Ababa, where he was received by the Angolan Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Francisco José da Cruz.

According to Angop, the two spoke about the second edition of the Luanda Biennial, which takes place between 27 and 29 November.

This year's edition of the African Youth Conference, called "Youth Connekt Africa 2021", is being organized by the government of Ghana in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme. The event is an annual meeting that connects young people and other figures with a view to empowering African youth.
