Turkish and Angolan companies sign agreements in the field of energy, industry and agriculture

Six Turkish companies signed memorandums of understanding with Angola for the development of projects in the areas of energy, industry, agriculture and training in the field of mining.

The memorandums of understanding were signed in Luanda, at the Angola-Turkey business forum, which was attended by the heads of state of both countries, João Lourenço and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whose visit to Angola ends this Tuesday.

In the field of energy, Aksa Enerj Uretim intends to team up with Prodel (Public Electricity Company of Angola) for the implementation of electricity production projects in the provinces of Cabinda, Zaire (Soyo) and Namibe.

PAK Yatirim has partnered with the National Electricity Transmission Network for an electrification project in Huíla (Cassanga mining project), while Calik Enerji San Ve Tic AS intends to promote the electrification of the eastern region.

The same company signed another memorandum with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for the development of a fertilizer factory.

Tosyali Iron & Steel Angola signed an agreement with the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas for professional technical training in the field of mining, while Erisler Gida Sanayi ve Tic. AS initialed a memorandum of understanding with Ango Rayan Group for the implementation of a milling plant.

Arasa Investment Limited signed an agreement with Gesterra to develop a large-scale agricultural enterprise for the production of soy and corn.
