The good news doesn't stop there: the Peróla Kikuxi predicts that by April 2021 the numbers will double, estimating a production of two million eggs per day.

The data were revealed this Wednesday by Elizabeth Dias dos Santos, farm administrator, who was speaking during a visit of the State Secretaries of Economy and Commerce to the company.

She said, quoted by Angop, that covid-19 led to a drop in production to 600,000 eggs per day.

She also made it known that in order to move forward with the increase in production, new investments will have to be mobilized, which should be supported by the bank. The company needs around 80 million dollars to increase production capacity, said Elisabeth Dias dos Santos, revealing that this bet will create around 3000 jobs.

The Secretary of State for Economic Affairs applauded the investment that the company has made and explained that the Ministry of Economy and Planning has created a policy through banking that aims to help entrepreneurs who want to promote national production.

The Secretary of State for Commerce was also satisfied with the work developed so far by the farm.

The farm was created in 1997 and consists of a slaughterhouse and a feed factory, employing about 545 people.
