In a statement, TAAG reported that it had suffered a cyber attack on its technological infrastructure, with some on-premises services (local servers) experiencing disruption.
According to the company's management, the company's operations were not affected, and the company continues to comply with operational security rules, being "duly authorised" by national and international aviation regulations.
The national operator stressed that, following the attack, the contingency plan was activated and that the information technology department is working to normalise the services that were affected.
Without specifying the consequences and services affected, TAAG added that it is ensuring the continuity of operations, ensuring the general scheduling of flights and their services, as well as the functionality of issuing reservations and tickets.
