Luanda Expo Car is “at full speed” in the Bay of Luanda

“Sustainable Mobility for the Future of Angola” is the theme of the 2nd edition of the country’s largest car fair. Luanda Expo Car is back in Luanda Bay and will remain until next Sunday, expecting to receive more than 15,000 visitors. The event was officially opened this Wednesday by the governor of the province of Luanda, Manuel Homem.

There are around 88 exhibitors from the automotive industry presenting a range of products and services, from essential vehicles to workshop parts, mobile applications and insurance. There are also players such as dealerships, banks, official brand representatives, mechanics, service providers and representatives of lubricant factories.

According to the coordinator of Luanda Expo Car, Justo Eliseu, the event aims to be a catalyst for positive changes in the automotive industry, contributing to a more sustainable and safe future in Angola. The organisation expects to exceed the results of the last edition by 25 percent, which generated more than one billion kwanzas. To this end, there are planned launches of brands and models in the country, as well as auctions and car draws. Business will also be boosted by conference rooms, which allow for business-to-business meetings.

Expo Car aims to show Angolans different types of vehicles, from family vehicles, sports cars, executive vehicles, service vehicles and technical assistance vehicles. However, despite being a car exhibition, it will also promote local initiatives focused on the economy, safety and the environment. It will also include activities such as conferences, a go-kart track and a children's area, according to the Government of the Province of Luanda.

Please note that entry to the event is paid, and tickets are available for purchase online. For more information, visit the Luanda Expo Car website.
