On Friday, Sagrada Esperança lost 1-0 at the home of Nigerian side Enugu Rangers in the first leg of the last qualifying round for the group stage of the African Champions League.
The goal was scored by Kazeem Ogunleye in the 80th minute at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The second leg is scheduled for 22 September at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Luanda.
On Saturday, Petro de Luanda, led by Portuguese Ricardo Chéu, lost 2-1 at the home of Congolese side AS Maniema in the first leg of the last qualifying round for the same competition.
The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Amongo Basiala, the three-time Angolan champions equalised in the 73rd minute through Vidinho, but in the 90+7th minute Balako gave AS Maniema the win.
The two teams will face each other again on 21 September in Luanda, in the second leg of the final qualifying round for the group stage of the biggest club football competition on the African continent.
In the African Confederation Cup, the second biggest club competition in Africa, Desportivo da Lunda Sul won 1-0 at home to Sekhukhune United from South Africa, after a goal by Joca in the 80th minute.
The second leg will take place on 21 September in South Africa.
