The game is scheduled for 5pm (Angola time), at the Baba Yara Stadium, in Kumasi (Ghana), where the team headed this Wednesday.

At the beginning of this week, the national team carried out a short period of preparation. According to a note from the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), to which VerAngola had access, the training was aimed at preparing the Palancas Negras for the double qualifying round for CAN2025 against Ghana and Sudan.

According to the coach, Pedro Gonçalves, the team's main objective is to secure the first points in the match against Ghana. The coach, who spoke to the press this Tuesday after the last training session, said he was focused on finding the points needed to stimulate the team, even playing away from home.

Quoted by Angop, he recognized the capabilities and potential of the opponent, saying that it is a talented team, especially in the mid-offensive sector, with athletes of high global level, but they can also be challenged by the Palancas Negras who proved themselves to be up to the task in two previous clashes.

According to Pedro Gonçalves, the national team has progressed in sporting terms, inspiring the idea that it will be able to play a great match and thus win the points needed to qualify for CAN2025.

Regarding how the team is prepared, the coach considered that he has a solid team, although the training period together was short, however, this will not affect the objectives.

He said they have already transmitted to the team everything that should be implemented in this Thursday's match: "We have already transmitted a set of ideas to the players about everything that should be implemented in Thursday's game, in Kumasi. Despite Monday, only 12 members worked, of the 25 called up, the rest ended up arriving from a trip".

He also spoke about the absence of Manuel Benson, who is injured. "It's a big loss for the group, but we have built trust with a core of players, who are motivated and determined to fight for points in this qualification", he pointed out, quoted by Angop.

After playing the first game in group F, this Thursday, the team will return to the scene on September 9th, where they will compete against Sudan. The game against Sudan is scheduled for 8pm, in Luanda, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro.
