According to the state insurer, these gross premiums reached in eight months represent an “unprecedented milestone in the Angolan market” and says that “there is no record of higher business volume in similar periods”.
The institution highlights, in a statement released this Wednesday, that in addition to the record number of premiums issued, during this period important advances were also achieved in several strategic initiatives, such as the first subscription to the new agricultural insurance and the consolidation of technological projects that are offering greater autonomy for customers in managing ENSA insurance.
For the president of ENSA's executive committee, Mário Mota Lemos, mentioned in the statement, the unparalleled turnover exceeded the company's expectations and proves the renewed dynamism of the workers.
At least 30 percent of ENSA's share capital must be privatized later this year, via the stock exchange, according to the Angolan Government's Privatization Program roadmap.
