Public competition in education: applications to fill 855 vacancies in Luanda have already started

Luanda began, this Monday, applications for the public competition to enter the Education sector. Can be submitted online, applications aim to fill the 855 vacancies available for teachers in the capital.

The Government of the Province of Luanda (GPL) informs, in a statement to which VerAngola had access, that applications must be submitted online, on the portal, which will be available from this Monday.

"It is announced that applications must be submitted via the website, which will be available for this purpose on Monday, September 25, 2023", reads the statement.

The note also states that the provincial governor, Manuel Homem, determined "the creation of the Provincial Jury Commission, in charge of preparing and organizing the Public Competition for External Entry for Teachers in the Education Sector, which should guarantee a quota of four per percent for candidates with disabilities".

The GPL states that "all information related to the competition will be available" on the aforementioned portal.

4400 candidates chosen for check-in phase at Escola 42 Luanda

4400 candidates were chosen, from a total of more than 22 thousand applications, to take part in the 'check-in' stage at Escola 42 Luanda. According to a statement from the educational establishment – cited by Angop –, at the application stage, those chosen did not stand out for having prior knowledge of programming, but rather for being able to deal with pressure and reasoning, through online logic games.

From this Tuesday (26 September) until the end of October, candidates will visit the institution, aiming to learn about the establishment, methodology and environment.

For check-in, the institution informs that those selected must arrive one hour before their check-in time and must have their Identity Card or other identification document and the "QR code, whether digital or printed"
