Economic Commission evaluates new remuneration architecture and national agenda for employment

The Roadmap for Implementing the New Public Administration Remuneration Architecture (RINAR) and the National Employment Agenda were, this Tuesday, assessed by the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers, during its seventh ordinary meeting.

:

RINAR, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic, to which VerAngola had access, is "a path that aims to harmonize and reinforce the standards and practices of public bodies in relation to salaries and other benefits owed to public servants and agents administrative, in return for the work provided".

With this document, the note adds, the Executive wants to define "clear criteria for salary increases based on the economic context, the attribution of competitive remuneration to public servants, based on their performance, competence and experience (...), to avoid hidden inequalities and generate a feeling of pay justice".

Another issue on the table was the National Employment Agenda. This instrument "establishes the guidelines for the coordinated action of different actors, whether public or private, in the field of promoting employment".

Furthermore, according to the statement, the document also envisages a reduction in the unemployment rate in the national economy, aiming to "address the imbalance between labor demand and supply", as well as promoting "improved redistribution of national income and the reduction of regional asymmetries".

It should be noted that the meeting took place at the Presidential Palace, during the morning of this Tuesday, and was chaired by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
