The visit takes place at the invitation of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), said spokesperson Hu Zhaoming, through a statement published on the official portal of the Office of the PCC's External Relations Commission.
Yin Li, 61, has also been a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee since last November, having previously held the position of head of the Communist Party in Fujian province, one of the main political fiefdoms of the current Chinese President, Xi Jinping, who began his political career there.
Several of Xi's political allies, who worked with him in Fujian in the 1980s, have in recent years been promoted to the top of the Chinese power hierarchy, as the current Chinese leader has centralized power around him.
Yin will be accompanied by a PCC delegation on the visit to Angola, the statement said.
