According to the decision regarding sanctioning processes, released this Wednesday, Banco Millennium Atlântico was imposed the highest fine, 56 million kwanzas, for non-compliance with the rules relating to interbank transfer operations in national currency, “a fact that violates the regulation relating to consumer protection of financial products and services”.
Banco Angolano de Investimentos was fined 40 million kwanzas for failing to comply with the regulatory deadline for carrying out interbank transfers in national currency, as well as the deadline for providing information related to the complaint presented, violating the regulations relating to consumer rights.
A financial penalty of 30 million kwanzas was applied to Banco Keve for “non-observance of special registration rules and non-compliance with specific BNA determinations”, says the regulator.
