Speaking to Angop, the director of the university's technology and information office also stressed that the share of female participation has grown in recent years. An ascent that mirrors a symbol of the development and empowerment of women at the UAN.
On the other hand, he referred that the share of teachers is not yet the intended one, but said that there are guarantees from the Government about an addition to respond to the demand, writes Angop.
Cited by Angop, the official also informed that the educational establishment currently has 51 degrees, 23 masters and 10 doctorates.
The UAN was founded six decades ago, more specifically in 1962. At the time, it was called Estudos Gerais Universitário, but it was in 1985 that the institution took its current name, Universidade Agostinho Neto, honoring the first president of the country and also the first rector of the institution.
