The national champion only starts defending the trophy on Tuesday, against Bravos do Maquis, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, in Luanda, since this Friday has the Supercup duel, against Desportivo da Huila, by Paulo towers.
Sagrada Esperança, Angola's vice-champion, coached by Alexandre Ribeiro, will face Wiliete de Benguela, in their stronghold, on Saturday, in a game that marks the Portuguese coach's debut in national football.
Interclube, which in the last edition was in sixth place, is now led by the also Portuguese Rogério Gonçalves and has its debut scheduled for Saturday, with a trip to the province of Benguela, where it will face Académica do Lobito.
In this opening round, Desportivo da Huila, under the command of Paulo Torres, welcomes debutant Isaac de Benguela, also on Tuesday. After guiding Recreativo do Libolo last season, Paulo Torres seeks to place his team at the top of the league table.
Sporting de Cabinda will play in their stronghold against Desportivo da Luanda Sul, while the newly promoted ASK Dragão do Uíge will host Recreativo do Libolo.
On Sunday, Sporting de Benguela welcomes Santa Rita, and 1.º de Agosto face Cuando Cubango FC at home.
