Technical-professional training center in Bié starts in October with more than 20 courses planned

As of next month, Bié province will have a technical-professional training centre. Coming into operation in October, the center will consist of 15 classrooms with more than 20 conjectured courses, being able to train, in each training cycle, more than 2000 trainees.

According to information provided by the head of the provincial service of the vocational training institute of Bié, Filipe Sitaque, with the completion of the future center it is expected that the offer of technical-professional training will grow.

"We expect to have more than 2000 trainees in the job market in each training cycle. We have in each current training cycle close to 1000 trainees in the classroom", said the official, in a statement to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).

In addition, the official also considered that the future center will also provide specialized training for women.

"Our centers today have a curriculum with courses with a greater inclination to the male gender", he said, quoted by RNA, adding that "this same center will have an equalization in its professional training grid, where there will also be courses with a greater inclination to the female gender, so that the youth can have more opportunities, more offer for the job market".
