According to Angop, this Thursday, at the 950th meeting of the Committee of Ambassadors, the website and logo of the event were endorsed.
The three continents, three oceans, 79 countries of the organization, motto, event site and Angola's culture (depicted by the Samakaka cloth) make up the logo, writes Angop, adding that the site allows citizens to find out more about the organization and member countries. between others.
These two symbols were presented by Mário de Azevedo Constantino, Angola's ambassador to the organization and also president of the committee's work team, and reflect the idea recognized in the organization's unity and cohesion, as well as being translated into pillars to publicize the event, writes to Angop.
According to the organisation, the event will be preceded by a business forum where matters related to trade between the organization's member states, among other forums, will be discussed.
Generally, the organization's Heads of State and Government summits are usually chaired by the head of State or Government of the host country, being organized by a team that includes the current president, the outgoing president and the future president.
In the last edition, the event took place in 2019 in Kenya. Thus, the president of Kenya will be the outgoing president, with Angola assuming the role of president of the 10th summit, as the host.
