The specialized transport portal in Brazil noted that Huambo Expresso was set up recently in Angola and has already started operating with 147 employees and a fleet of 15 vehicles operating in the provinces of Huambo, Cuíto, Benguela, Lubango and Luanda.
In January 2022, the company will add 35 buses to its fleet and will start serving 18 provinces in Angola with 50 vehicles and start operating for cargo and parcels.
The technology purchased from the Brazilian company consists of a Luna Platform for ticket management and also a platform of technological solutions for the logistics and mobility chain.
According to information from Diário do Transportes, the Angolan company stressed that transport in the African country still uses manual processes, and that the lack of technology for managing the operation ends up being accompanied by problems in offering the service.
Huambo Expresso therefore stressed that it has adopted a new concept in technology for operation in the Angolan transport market.
