Large and small producers, cooperatives, retail entities, transport service providers and consumers will be linked together in a single platform.
Alan Varela, national director of Rural Commerce, quoted by Angop, explained that the portal will help simplify the marketing of products, since producers and consumers have access to the process of marketing products, such as holding auctions, in one space.
According to the official, the portal "besides reducing costs in commercial exchanges in the rural circuit, it also enlarges the markets, which are thus available at a distance of a click".
Under the responsibility of the National Directorate of Rural Commerce (DNCR), the platform will also "help to expand" the online sales market "of rural commerce, to serve from the small producer to the agro-industry, always aiming at consumer satisfaction end in an easy, fast and safe way," added the person in charge.
