João Lourenço says "nobody works alone" and calls for teamwork in the Government

The Head of State asked the new members of the Government to work as a team in order to achieve the set goals. João Lourenço reminded that "nobody works alone" and that there should be "inter-help".

:

"Being part of the Executive, both at the central and provincial level is a great responsibility. I appreciate that you have the notion that only with team spirit can we achieve our goals. To have the notion that we are a team. Nobody works alone. There must be inter-help among us and always have the sense of state", he said, quoted in a note published on the Government's Facebook page.

The words were spoken during the swearing in ceremony of the new members of the Executive, with emphasis on Mário Augusto Caetano de Sousa for the position of Minister of Economy and Planning and Dalva Maurícia Calombo Ringote Allen for the position of Secretary of State for Economy.

The President also swore in Faustino António Cortez, as vice-governor of Cunene for Technical Services and Infrastructure, Lídia Celma Gonçalves Machado Amaro, as vice-governor of Benguela for the Political, Social and Economic Sector and Cristino Mário Ndeitunga, as vice-governor of Luanda for Technical Services and Infrastructure.

At the end of the ceremony, the new Minister of Economy and Planning made it known that, in an initial phase, the priority will be to give continuity to the works in progress.

"We have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are confident that we will succeed, especially in reaching the goals of the National Development Plan," he said.
