National Electricity Transmission Network launches tender budgeted at 484 million kwanzas

The National Electricity Transport Network (RNT), a national public company, launched a limited tender, budgeted at 484 million kwanzas, for the expansion and rehabilitation of its Dispatch Center in Luanda, was announced.

In a statement released this Monday in Jornal de Angola, the RNT states that the tender limited by prior qualification implies the signing of a public contract, is divided into two lots and applications must be delivered by 8 October.

The first lot involves the contract for the expansion and the second for the rehabilitation of the RNT Dispatch Center, located in the Camama Electric Substation, municipality of Belas, in Luanda.

Minimum requirements for technical and financial capacity and economically advantageous proposal are among the award criteria, whose candidates must pay 250,000 kwanzas, per lot, to obtain the parts of the procedures.

According to the document signed by the chairman of the board of directors of the RNT, Rui Ferreira do Amaral Gourgel, the project should be completed within 24 months.

The RNT, supervised by the Ministry of Energy and Water, is a public entity that manages the national electricity transmission network, system operator and market operator.
