The angolan presented a monochrome collection, called "Alter Ego". The designer's parade was enhanced with the presence of some personalities from the fashion world, including Sophie Coustaury, Annika Mohr Storfalt, Eric Darrieus, Prisca Centaure, Suna Moya and Charles Jackotin, who in the end succumbed to the attributes of the pieces of the angolan designer, writes Angop.

Among the audience, were also present some angolan faces, especially the ambassador of Angola in France João Bernardo de Miranda as well as Nelson Bastos, Diva Marques, Tilucho, Tânia Gouveia and Telma Gomes.

Soraya da Piedade was the only designer from Angola and the African Portuguese Speaking Countries (PALOP) to be invited to participate in 'Africa Fashion Up'.

The angolan graduated in Brazil in Business Management and Fashion Design, having entered the fashion world in 2010.

This show is the first event organized in the French capital dedicated to African fashion. It is the result of an initiative by international model Valérie Ka in partnership with Balenciaga and aims to highlight African creativity through fashion.
