"The implementation of the recent 'Pontos Azuis' represents the continuation of Standard Bank's strategy of reaching out to communities, aiming to offer greater convenience and access to essential banking services through innovative financial inclusion solutions. This is just the first step in our ongoing effort and mission to improve banking services in communities," said Aronildo Neto, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Bank Angola.

In partnership with the Noble Group, "Ponto Azul" ATM centers were opened in the municipalities of Cacuaco (6 ATMs), Calumbo (4 ATMs), Talatona (4 ATMs), and Kilamba Kiaxi (5 ATMs). The "Ponto Azul" ATM in the municipality of Rangel is the result of a partnership with the Newaco Group and has 5 ATMs.

The "Ponto Azul" ATM centers located in the municipalities of Cacuaco and Calumbo are part of the ATM Network Expansion Program, promoted by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), which aims to expand and improve public access to financial products and services, helping to reduce asymmetries in the geographic distribution of ATMs. The inauguration, which took place on August 6th and 7th, was attended by representatives of the National Bank of Angola, municipal administrations, the National Police, and the Noble Group administration.
