In a statement sent to VerAngola, TAAG says that during the event it will be promoting its domestic, regional and international destinations, as well as other products and services. Highlights will be the air carrier's new website - TAAG.com - the service in the cargo and mail segment and the 'plus grade' auctions (online class upgrade service).
This Monday, the first day of the event that runs until the beginning of September, the TAAG stand was visited by several personalities, namely the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, and Chandapiwa Nteta, High Commissioner of the Republic of Botswana for Mozambique.
The Maputo International Fair (FACIM) is a multi-sectoral event promoted by the Ministry of Industry of Mozambique to show the world that the country is an attractive destination for trade and investment. The event facilitates contact between national and international exhibitors, stimulates consumption and economic integration between countries in the region, says the organization.
FACIM runs until September 1st under the motto “Industrialization: Innovation and Diversification of the National Economy”.
TAAG's participation in the event translates into an opportunity to meet with suppliers and partners, do business prospecting, as well as attract potential customers for the corporate and private segment, says the company in a statement.
Angola flies to Mozambique four times a week, with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, on a Dash-8 Q400 aircraft with capacity to carry 74 passengers.
