The information was provided by the company's executive director this Friday, the day on which Endiama formally received the dossier on the right to operate and manage the hotel from the State Assets and Participation Management Institute (IGAPE).
According to the director, the next step will be to maintain the infrastructure, since it has been empty for a long time, with a view to providing dignity and comfort to users.
Quoted by Angop, the director said that a survey will be carried out to determine the demand for labour and then a competition will be held to hire young locals.
In addition, he also mentioned, as another action, negotiations with IGAPE to change the name of the hotel.
According to the executive director of Endiama, the hotel will reduce the lack of rooms in the province of Lunda Norte, as well as making it easier to hold events in the diamond sector, writes Angop.
It should be recalled that, at the beginning of last month, IGAPE reported that the State would receive more than 14 billion kwanzas from the privatization of four hotels in the IU, IKA and Bina chain.
At the time, IGAPE reported that the IU Dundo Hotel was adjudicated to Endiama, while the remaining three units (IU Moçâmedes Hotel, IU Lubango Hotel and IU Talatona Hotel) were adjudicated to Viva Luanda and Umbiserv. According to Angop, with this adjudication, Endiama now has two units in Lunda Norte, totaling 110 rooms.
